The use of non-Latin characters in web addresses

ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, its acronym in English) has the system, tested for over a year to carry out the internationalization of web addresses. The plan was approved Friday at the annual summit of the regulatory organization in Seoul. Of the 1,600 million Internet users in the world, more than half do not use Latin characters. Some countries, like China and Thailand, have introduced systems to enable the writing of addresses in your language and translate the codes prevailing on the Internet. But they could not be recognized by all computers.
